The Benefit of Swings
Swings keep children physically active while having a great time. The turn-taking, cooperation, sharing and problem solving that happen naturally at the swing set are important lifelong skills. And so are the lessons in friendship learned while friends (literally) hang out together at the swings.
We offer traditional tripod-style swings and modern arch swings in heavy duty and standard grades, 8′ and 10′ heights, and with any number of bays or half-bays, thanks to our Extend-A-Bay™ and Extend-A-Half-Bay™ options. We also offer commercial tire swings, single post swings and t-frame swings, for something a little different in your playground.
Slash-Proof Baby Swing Seat
Fully-enclosed infant seat that helps prevent small children from falling out. Seat is a 3/8″ (10mm) EPDM rubber and polymer blend with a vandal-proof insert and heavy duty rust-proof hardware.
Dimensions: 39in (991mm) circumference, 9.5in (241mm) deep, front leg opening is 5in (127mm) leg with the back opening 4.75in (121mm).
Construction: Steel insert encased in 70duro EPDM rubber with heavy duty rust resistant welded triangular hardware.
EPDM: Ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer is a synthetic rubber material which helps prevent crazing, cracking and oxidizing. Coated to a thickness of 0.25in (6.35mm) to 0.375in (9.5mm)
Rubber does not rub off on children’s clothes
Holds up well in extreme temperatures, both very hot and very cold.
Galvanized 3/8in (10mm) dia. cold rolled steel triangles and steel plates that are riveted to the seat with galvanized rivets. Each triangle is welded together for extra strength and durability
Tensile strength is 5300 lbs.
